Furniturebox is a leading online home furniture retailer with a rapidly expanding product catalogue and a heavy focus on performance ads. As the business scaled, the team needed a clearer, faster way to understand product and ad performance - uncovering the real drivers behind profitability.

The Challenge

Before Conjura, Furniturebox’s performance data lived across multiple platforms: Google Ads, Meta, GA4 and BigCommerce. Pulling together a clear view of what was really driving profit required time-consuming manual work and plenty of guesswork.

Like many brands post-UA, GA4 didn’t fully solve the problem. The team trialled several analytics tools, but none became part of the daily workflow until Conjura.

Heavy focus on Google Ads

Google Ads drives a significant proportion of Furniturebox’s revenue, with Shopping and Performance Max playing a central role. However, when so much performance resides within Google, understanding which products and campaigns are genuinely profitable becomes increasingly difficult.

The risk was clear: if a handful of core products underperformed, the impact on overall results could be immediate and hard to diagnose.

Scaling SKUs without losing control

Furniturebox is looking to expand its range, with plans to launch hundreds of new SKUs. Without clear, accessible product-level reporting, tracking launch performance and spotting early winners (or losers) would only become more challenging.

Conjura replaced fragmented reporting with a single, intuitive platform that the Furniturebox team now uses daily. Their Marketing department starts each day with a quick “temperature check” on revenue, spend, conversion rate and profit - without needing to jump between tools.

Custom dashboard views allow the team to focus on what matters most at any given time, whether that’s seasonal ranges, newly launched products or specific marketing channels.

Profit-led Google Ads optimisation

By combining marketing spend with product cost data, Conjura gave Furniturebox a clear view of contribution profit by product and campaign.

This made it far easier to identify which products could support increased spend, which were dragging down profitability, and where Performance Max efficiency could be improved. Additionally, Conjura is used by Furniturebox’s ad management agency, enabling both business and agency to be aligned with strategy across the board.
